Back in May Carter had his 4 Month check up. He is a big boy -- weighing in at just over 15 pounds & 25 1/2 inches long. Now for those of you that have seen him in person lately can back me up when i say - he isn't chubby he is just solid. He is so long that he is wearing 9 month clothes. He also started drinking out of a sippy cup at 4 months, he absolutely LOVES it!!
He is always on the go! For the last few weeks he has been scooting backwards, he can make his way down our 20ft hallway in about 30 seconds. Just last week he started getting up on his hands and knees and rocking back and fourth (yes at 5 months - oh boy we are in for it!). We are going to have a crawler before we know it. And he keeps up his energy with his huge appetite! He loves food, some of his favorites are - carrots, sweet potatoes, bananas, pears, prunes, green beans and popsicles (just like daddy). With all the strength he is getting from food he works out on a daily basis, concentrating mostly on his push-ups :)
Last week Alivia, Carter and mommy spent a few days at Memaw's house at the lake. This was Carters first time sleeping away from home!! And also his first time in the water! He wasn't too fond of the lake, it was a bit cold and there were a lot of screaming/splashing kids. I am hoping for a better reaction next time :)
He is constantly jabbering about something. He loves talking to daddy and telling him stories. And he gets so excited and talks to Livi all the time. He plays in his exersaucer a lot and when he sets one of the noises off he always talks back to it, it's so cute. He also started sticking his tongue out and blowing raspberries/spitt :) all the time.
My baby boy is growing so quickly! He is so much fun!
