Twirling, High 5, and Peek-a-boo :)

WOW! What a big boy! Carter has been doing so much the last few weeks.

His personality has been changing so much lately. It is such a rewarding thing to be able to spend my days watching my little boy become the person he is going to be. I love watching him change and grow and learn and develop. He is so smart and loving and has such a great spirit!

Carter loves to clean!! He drags his toy vacuum around with him everywhere he goes, Thank You Mimi for the great birthday gift! He started picking up his own toys and putting them back in the baskets when it is time to clean up. He is such a good little helper.

In the end of January he started giving high fives! It was so cute, when you hold out your had he would run up to you and give you a high five then bust out in giggles because he thought it was funny :) He spends a lot of time entertaining himself by spinning in circles until he is so dizzy he falls down. Then when he can stand again he does it again. He also sticks his butt up in the air with his head on the floor and watches you between his legs upside down, that really cracks him up. He is such a funny boy and he loves to laugh and have fun.

The beginning of February he started saying his first phrase "Hello Dada" every time he saw Cameron. I have will have to admit, mommy was a little jealous :) But I know soon enough he will be talking about Mama a lot. He talks and jibber jabbers all day long. Whew! we thought sissy talked a lot, well brace yourself because Carter is trying to keep up :) In the middle of February Daddy was traveling a lot so we were talking to him via a video chat. Carter really liked be able to see dad on the computer while talking to him. When we were all done talking daddy blew him a kiss and Carter blew on back to him :) It was the first time he had ever done it, and let me to you, it was OOOOHHHH SSOOO CUTE!! Then he and dad spent the next few minutes telling each other how much they love each other and blowing kisses back a fourth.

Yesterday 2/26/2011, we met Mimi for breakfast in Lafayette. Carter had a lot of fun playing with her. She was playing peek-a-boo with him and he started doing it on his own. He would cover his eyes and then move his hands and say, what sounded like, "see you". Such a big boy! He has been playing peek-a-boo with me all day :)

He has also started to try testing the limits with mommy. He has given me a few good tantrums, kicking and screaming on the floor, but I think he is realizing it doesn't get him anywhere. I can only hope that these won't last for too long.
